I became a process improver 20 years ago.  Having worked for and with many companies that were all trying to improve their business and all getting mixed results.  When I looked at the larger issue, I wanted to find a way to fix all three of these issues (revenue, expenses, and time) without sacrificing one for the others.  Over the last 20 years I have refined that process with Fortune 500 companies and government agencies… increasing revenue, reducing expenses, and freeing up time for the team to focus on new ventures.

Looking at what has happened to small businesses in the past three years a couple observations struck me:

• • This knowledge isn’t publicly or readily available to small business owners.
  • Most small businesses can’t afford to hire consultants like me because the high investment is a barrier to entry.
  • Small businesses are more vulnerable in tough times because of limited resources and limited bandwidth.

So my focus has shifted to helping small business owners prepare themselves for growth and sustain during unexpected tough times.
